Navi's Dad by Ivan Guerrero Najera

Navi's Dad

They call me Navi's dad
And all the joy is mine

My son is quite a lad
He smiles and all is fine

He climbs the couches now
Tomorrow he will be
Great pride, don't know just how
But I can't wait to see

He is my hope, my son
And all that's good in me
Potential, future, fun
Accomplishment is he

A father, rightfully
My chance has come to be
A father like the one
My father missed to be

But all is fair in life
My son proves this today
He's here to reconcile
The bright with what was gray

The lost that is now found
The laughter in a frown
And opened up the door
To merry all around

They call me Navi's dad
What else could I ask for?
