Rain in Winter by Ivan Guerrero Najera

Rain in Winter

A shadow cast on running water
And rain in winter

A sorrow and it seems to bother
Exhausted sprinter

Branches, they break and fall asunder
The sun is hiding behind snow

The blue is white and blizzard thunder
I stop and go

I grow within and getting lost
A mind is numb in contemplation

Offer my shin at any cost
And only after introspection

Escape maturity of life
The most insightful thought

Bound to routine and still alive
Paid for it cash but nothing's bought
