Completeness by Ivan Guerrero Najera

Completeness

The body can, to its own end
Bleed into the outside
For injury can cause
The physical, far from a mend
To find the void, to hide
To stumble into a permanent pause

What saves it isn't luck
Nor is it fate
It's usually a randomness
A simple fix to the amok
A last resort, a bait
A ray of light in complete darkness

And while the world is never fixed
And only patched
My love to you is fact
My spirit mixed
Pandora hatched
Is no match for our lover's pact

I'm more a part of you
Than of myself
Conjoined
Although combined we're blue
Without yellow, green lacks health
Without a head, tail can't be coined

Without their stump
Trees are null
They are despair
A camel without a hump
A blade so dull
A legless chair

Completeness only comes
To me through you
Today and for eternity
And as our love becomes
Past evident, past true
I'll be proximity to your vicinity
